Today I was outside with the girls saying goodbye to my sister who bought over a delicious monring tea (thanks Lisa!) when Jess took herslf back inside and locked the door. I was knocking and trying to coax her over to open the door when I noticed through the window that she had stuck her hands in the paint palette that Meg had been using earlier.
Yikes – not paint on my about-to-sold walls and carpet! I raced around to the back door, which by the way was hard to do in my slippers, and grabbed her before too much damage had been done. The next thing I know, I turn my back for a second and she has a green texta and is drawing on the wall 🙁
They say that selling your home is the second most traumatic thing in your life, after the death of a partner. I’m thinking they are probably right!
Have a great weekend one and all.
OMG! You poor thing! And running around at your stage isn’t all that easy without losing your balance.
Hang in there – and if there’s anything we can do, let us know! (Come over for lunch before opens so you don’t have to clean up, etc). x
I have just caught up on your last few blog enteries. Well done on getting a house, it sounds excellent but I don’t envy you cleaning all those rooms…lol
I am sure your new daugther will be very much loved and have a wonderful life with her sisters and terrific parents. As long as she is healthy that’s the most important thing right? Take care and have a wonderful week end 🙂
