I made this jersey Caramel Cheesecake to welcome my girls home from a week down the coast with Grandma. Apparently she had some while there and wouldn’t share with the kids – so I made them their own! It was very delish!
Today at 9am Mass, Holly was inducted into the Guild of St Stephen which is a society for Alter servers and others who have shown dedication to their ministry. Holly has been a alter server for 5 years so she can now wear this medal around her neck when she is on duty. Very proud of her.
It was also another special occasion today as Mass with Sr Colleen marking her 50th anniversary as a nun. Well done Sr Colleen. She is so lovely and we adore having her in the school and the parish. She is always there with a gentle wise word and a shoulder to carry some worry or concern. I just can’t imagine the place with out her quiet presence.
Yesterday we finally celebrated the 40th birthday of one of my besties, Measa. She is actually turning 41 today, so got the 40th in just in time. It was Hollywood theme and there was a star on the red carpet for each family who came along. This was ours and the picture of the 2 children in the middle is representative of how we met – Holly and Caity were 2 years old and in the same group at childcare. 12 years on and they are still friends, and Meas and I growing old gracefully together!
The kids had so much fun in the photobooth, We came home with a wad a photo strips. Happy Birthday sweet girl x
