Little babushka doing homework!

Watching Meg run today at the Little Athletics ACT championships.  She came 5th in 1500m and 4th in 400m. Very proud mother moment.

Love that first coffee of the day – and in my new coffee mugs that I bought online from Peters of Kensington.

Amy specifically chose this book because Daddy loves bees and she wanted him to know about them.  We are thinking of getting a couple of hives and starting up beekeeping.

Amy has a chart challenge that if she reads 10 books to gets a prize.  She wrote on a piece of paper about 10 things that she would love to do/have/eat/see and after she gets to 10 books off the chart she can pick randomly from the papers in a box..  Well she picked Yoghurtland and so after school today we went along and indulged in some sweet goodness.

Kids, family, picnic dinner, fluro bands and amazing fireworks.  Great night.

Ran parkrun this morning with my nephew Andrew and had the most amazing time.  At the end I said “are you going to let me win?” and he took off with such speed that I ate dust for 50metres.  🙂
