I got so spoilt, I just couldn’t believe it.

Firstly the kids were all out – Meg and Jess at daycare, and Holly at a friends (good start, peace and quiet all day yippee). I got a great haircut, bought a few scrapbooking supplies, and had a wander around the shops. Bliss.

Justin beat me home, picked up the kids from daycare and when I walked in the door, there was a massive bunch of flowers on the table, with chocolates and a beautiful card. He even wrote beautiful things inside the card. I could have wept!

Something Rach said today stuck in my mind. She thought that wedding anniversarys should be comemmorated, seeing as so many marriages don’t last very long at all, 8 years is definately something to be proud of, and certainly something to be celebrated. I agree. I am proud of Justin and I, proud of all we have accomplished in our 8 years of marriage (and 13 years together), and proud to be with the man I love.
